Kamalgatta / Lotus Seed Beads : Poverty is the worst curse of life. To banish this curse that could be haunting a house for generations one must try this Bracelet. Lakshmi is also called Kamalvaasini - i.e. one who sits on a lotus. This is why for the Sadhana of Lakshmi we use lotus Seeds which is also called Kamal Gatta. The Goddess is easily appeased if one uses the Kamal Gatta Beads for the chanting of her Mantra and she bestows upon him wealth and comforts. But using a Kamalgatta / Lotus seed Beads helps one secure the blessings of the Goddess faster.

Moli / Raksha Sutra : Before every Puja or Yagna, the priest ties a sacred thread on the hand of the person who is getting the Puja done. This thread called, Moli / Mauli is tied and the person is asked to take a Sankalp which is like a vow, a purpose for which a particular Puja or Yagna is being done. It is tied on hand after the sankalp mantra - indicating a devotee's resolution to worship / do puja etc. Hence the Moli / Kalawa is a gross reminder and symbol of this conviction. As the string is tied around the hand, you pray that your life will similarly revolve around God. Once tied, one is not supposed to untie this thread for a particular period depending upon the type of ritual. Some people tie them up till next Sankalp is taken. However, it usually continues for a week after the Puja. Many follow this for two to four weeks. Raksha Bandhan is one example where Rakhi is tied by the sister on the brother’s wrist, who takes Sankalp for the safety of the sister.

The string represents the Bond between Atma ( Soul ) and Parmatma ( God ).
You tie / bind yourself into the service of God.
You invoke God and ask for His / Her blessings that only Good deeds may be done with your hand.
It is a Raksha - Sutra ( like a rakhi ) and hence protects its wearer from evil spirits or habits.
