Navratri Collection

Chaitra Navratri is a nine-day Hindu festival that usually takes place in March or April. It's also known as Vasanta Navratri and marks the first day of the Hindu calendar. The festival is devoted to goddess Durga, whose nine forms are worshipped on nine days. The last day is also Rama Navami, the birthday of Rama.

Chaitra Navratri is celebrated to: Worship the nine divine incarnations of Maa Durga, Seek a higher self, Meditate, and Attain bliss. The word Navratri is derived from a Sanskrit word that translates ‘Nava’ as nine and ‘Ratri’ as night. Each day is dedicated to one of the nine avatars of goddess Durga (namely Shailputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayani, Kaalratri, Mahagauri and Siddhidatri) and every day has a colour significance associated with it.
