In the sacred geometry of the home and the cosmos, the South-West (Nairitya) is the direction of stability, strength, and the grounding of divine energy. It is also the realm where the Goddess Durga stands as a sentinel, destroying the shadows that dare to enter.

It is from this place of protective power that this masterpiece was born. Created by Nairiti Jain—whose name itself honors the one who resides in the South-West to vanquish demons—this painting of Lord Tripurantaka is more than art; it is a visual meditation on the triumph of the soul.

The Legend: The Three Cities of the Ego

The story of Tripurantaka is the story of our own internal struggles. The three demon brothers—Tarakaksha, Kamalaksha, and Vidyunmali—did not build cities of stone, but cities of Iron, Silver, and Gold. These cities represent the three "bodies" of man:

  • The Iron City: Our physical attachments and the dense, heavy nature of the material world.

  • The Silver City: Our astral world of emotions, fluctuating desires, and the lunar mind.

  • The Golden City: The causal body—the final, subtle layer of ego that believes it is the creator.

These cities moved independently through the heavens, just as our thoughts and desires often pull us in different directions. They could only be destroyed when they aligned in a single, vertical line—a moment of perfect internal equilibrium.

Nairiti's Vision: The Moment of Alignment

In this evocative work, Nairiti Jain captures the exact moment of that cosmic alignment.

  • The Central Beam: Notice the vertical axis of golden light cutting through the monochrome form of Mahadev. This represents the Sushumna Nadi, the central channel of our spiritual spine. When our physical (Iron), emotional (Silver), and mental (Gold) selves align, the divine light can pass through us.

  • The Transition of Elements: While the golden temple glows at the heart of the destruction, the base of the painting shows the churning of smoke and fragments. This is the transformation of the 'Iron' and 'Silver' cities as they are consumed by the fire of Shiva's awareness.

  • The Artist's Touch: Nairiti's use of deep charcoal for Lord Shiva's form emphasizes his role as the Vairagi—the one who is detached from the world yet remains its ultimate protector. The contrast with the radiant gold symbolizes how spiritual truth (Shiva) remains steady while the material world (the cities) is in constant flux.

A Legacy of Devotion at Rudraksham

At Rudraksham, our mission has always been to provide the tools for this very alignment. Whether it is the grounding strength of a 14 Mukhi bead or the protective energy of a Siddh Mala, each piece we offer is intended to be your "single arrow" against the chaos of modern life.

We are proud to feature Nairiti's work as the cornerstone of our brand's aesthetic. It serves as a reminder that within our family—and yours—the power to destroy demons and find stability is a divine birthright.
