Mantra Yoga and Tantrik
(esoteric) practices have a very significant place in the Nath
Yogi cult. The whole universe is in rhythm with mantra. Mantra
is the seed for the whole universe.
Belief-devotion-knowledge-strength-salvation-meditation, SAMADHI
all are incomplete without mantra. Omkar Adinathji’s
disciple Siddh Yogi Matsyendra Nathji originally wrote
these Shabar Mantras. These mantras were originally written
for the welfare of the common mass, removal of grievances and for
the attainment of the best.
For this purpose Matsyendra Nath ji
performed difficult penance at Kamru (Presently Assam State). Then
Omkar Adinath ji and mother Parvati after being pleased asked the
reason for performing strong penance, at that point. Matsyendra
Nath ji asked mother Parvati to give powers and Shiv to give
authentication and empowerment to his mantras.
It was then that
Shiv and Parvati invited Matsyendra Nath ji to come on Kailash
Mountain on Shiv-Ratri. On reaching Kailash Mountain Matsyendra
Nath ji asked for the blessings of Shiv and Parvati by blowing the
NAD (instrument used by Nath Yogi) and was blessed. Then he showed
his Shabar Mantra creation in seed form to them. On reading these
mantra Shiv-Parvati were very impressed and to give empowerment to
the Shabar Mantras they invited all powers of the universe
including Devi, Devtas, Demons and Saints etc. All powers were
welcomed by Mother Parvati on Kailash and given a large feast.
After everyone present was seated they enquired why they were
invited. Shiv- Parvati told that their disciple Matsyendra Nath ji
has created Shabar Mantra procedures. Ghor, Aghor, Kal, Mahakaal,
Ucchatan, Maran etc. All powers of the universe are then asked to
give their consent and empowerment to the Shabar Mantra. Every
power of the universe then given their consent and are then bound
to present & do the work assigned for the one who is using the
Shabar Mantra. These Mantra are effective for everyone in the universe
from common man to Devi-Devtas. Through these mantras one can
achieve everything and salvation in the end. |
